MDMX Club Day 

This Sunday 17 February

Working Bee tomorrow Saturday

Sunday February 17th is club 1st Club Day at Tivoli Raceway.

The postponment of the Shell Advance/Sunshine State series round has made a late decision necessary.

Full canteen facilities available.

Gates will be open from 6.00am

See you there!!

at this late stage this may not be points day.  The scheduled club day on 24 February will not go ahead.

Calling All Members!

We have the 1st round of the WEM Aust Women's MX Championship & Development series at Tivoli on Sunday 9 March.  We need your help!!!!.

We are also developing a Stadium MX/SX track in the old DIrt Track area and a 50cc Div 1& 2 track.  Any person that can assist, please contact Kevin on 0408 705606 or Trish on 0419 914543.

Anyone who can help with any job is more than welcome. Just contact Kevin or Trish on the above numbers and we'll let you know when we will be on site.

Volunteers / Flaggies

As most of you who ride and race at Tivoli are aware we always seem to have a problem getting flag marshalls and people to help on race days.  We will be trying to get extra marshalls but will also pay $25.00 / shift.

We had been paying flag marshalls for a long time and it drains the club of funds.  We are going back to this method and if necessary will increase Club Day entry fees.

MDMX Club Meetings

Karalee Tavern is the venue for MDMX club meetings. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm.

The hotel owner is very supportive of motocross and is keen to help the club out any way he can.

Please show your support for the club by attending the meetings if you can, we are keen to hear your ideas.

If any club members would like to advertise motorcycle related items or bikes on this website in the For Sale Section please send an e mail with the text you would like to qmx@optusnet.com.au and I will place your add up when I update the website.

The website is getting about 2,500 hits a month so no harm in having a go.

WANTED: People to help open the track for practice

Unfortunately, due to a very low number of qualified people willing to help it is difficult to open the track every weekend.

The CLUB desperately NEEDS people to help on practice days so we can have more of them. If you can help by getting an Officials Licence, which is not hard to do, call MQ and they will put you on a course.

If you don't want to do a course but have First Aid qualifications OR can simply help during practice by watering, timing the sessions, waving a flag, signing people in, or anything at all PLEASE let us know.

We would love to open the track every weekend, both days, but we need the people who are willing to help to make it possible.

So next time you think of getting "upset" at the track not being opened please consider those 4 people who do open whenever they can and ask yourself "How can I help to get it opened more often".

Anyone who can help with anything will be welcome with open arms.

Tivoli is your race track and the more people who help, the better it will be and the more you can ride there.
